    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has experience of using a combination of MHRV and a stand alone stove for space heating in a highly insulated house? I am hoping to use solar panels with an immersion as back up for water heating.
The house will be airtight with the following u values
    Walls 0.15
    Floor 0.11
    Ceilings 0.15
    Windows 0.8
    Thanks

Hi, I'm about to do something very similar. How did you get on? It looks like no one replied to your question?

Stove should have an external feed.

This way it doesnt affect the air inside the house.
Eg doest draw the air from the room.

However I would also install a flap that you can close the external feed to stop the cold air coming into the stove when off creating a reverse radiator.
