What type of stuff are you considering selling?

As regards clothes, it seems to be knock off Nike sports gear and that sort of thing. Lots of stands selling that stuff.

You'll get a huge variety of people at these things though... some guys will spend half an hour bargaining with you just for the craic and have no intention of buying anything, some people aren't even there to buy anything, just to pass the time.

If you do manage get a reputation for selling specific stuff there regularly, people will go out specially just to buy it - I know people that go all the way to the kilkenny car boot sale to buy really specific things, just because they knew they could get them there..

JoegDoyle, if you're thinking of selling good quality items at either market - don't bother. It would be a waste of time. I know a few different people who have sold at both markets and only managed to sell small quantities at very low prices. They said it was basically the same people walking around every week filling in time.
