New Mini front bumper

    Hi guys does anyone know how I can buy a front bumper for my 2012 mini copper as someone reversed in to it outside the door...theres no paint damage but will need new bumper. Thanks in advance

    Shouldn't the other party be doing that or was it a hit n run?

    Normally you would take the car to a body/repair shop and they will give you a quote including a new part (if needed) plus painting and fitting it. Get a few quotes and prices and quality of work will vary.

    Yep hit and run ... anyway got a quote for 400 no paint damage thank god just looking for a better quote its not worth going true the insurance .. thank you

    can you put up a picture? Are you sure the bumper needs replacing? You could try a breakers here, would be ideal if you could find one in perfect condition in same colour, ebay or breakers from Uk is another option. I can also highly recommend Johnny from carcosmetix and came across a mention of a place on this forum yesterday of a very reasonably priced place in Finglas that people were praising....

    If it were a hit and run, I would only bother getting one quote and that would be from a main dealer or someone else I had used before and was happy with...

    Swear to god bloody disaster well annoyed. . We had to push it back in as I couldnt drive would there be a point in getting a photo up maybe its a silvey grey coppery color... yes il have to get one asap my beautiful cooper looks ****.. Thanks fir all your help guys

    Did you get it properly checked?

    May only look like superficial damage but bumpers can have brackets and dampers behind them that can be wrecked with only a slight collision.

    They had it on a lift to see it and that's
    what they said what u mention some bracket thing broke

    You may be able to get some of that money back possibly by claiming off the MIBI > https://www.mibi.ie/. A certain percentage of each insurance premium paid is put into a fund by insurance companies to allow for claims against uninsured or unidentified vehicles.

    Definitely worth looking it.
