Noise out of radiator

    Hi Guys,

    My elderly neighbour has 14 rads in his house.
    All are working fine.

    The 5 he has downstairs all omit great heat but make a hissing noise out of them.
    I have bled them so there is no air in them.

    Any suggestions?

    This could be circulation you are hearing. Have they always been this way or is it just something you have noticed?

    Not sure to be honest. But no noise coming out of the rads upstairs:)

    Is this normal?

    It all depends on the system.

    If there heating and working fine I would imagine all is ok.
