Hi, I know I'll probably need to call out a plumber but I was wondering what is causing this switch/valve to be making a sort of banging noise.

Also there is a small box with three buttons connected to the underfloor controls box and one of these is tripped

I have tried powering off the heating, gave the switch/ valve a couple of firm bangs to see if anything was sticking and tried resetting the heating tripswitch with no luck.

The banging occurs when the system is firing/heating up.The microswitch/valve is located on the return pipe if that makes any sense to anyone.

Just wondering what could be wrong and maybe roughly what this will cost to repair

    Thanks for any info provided.
