Remember the shop that was robbed last week?

    What brands were taken.

A lad on Adverts.ie selling a new felt and new fuji for silly money. Looked at his history and he hasnt sold any bikes in the past.

    Just wondering.

i am 99% sure there was a thread for them in the adverts section on here this morning, put up by a new poster, which has now disappeared. given this thread was here, it looks more than fishy, so buyer beware. if the poster is genuine then my apologies for doubting your good name, but every alarm bell in my head is going off

Not saying you didn't see it but would be kinda hard to get a thread deleted

Might be worth linking that to him then. Stick up the link here if you like, I have an adverts account and don't mind doing it. dunno if the mods allow that though since the bike is most likely stolen.

Edot; I'm talking about the felts bike. The owner's plea for help is linked above.

Never link to any bike you suspect is stolen - that will simply get you carded (or banned) as it's against site rules to speculate that someone is a thief (check out the OP in the stolen bike thread for more info). Contact the Gardaí if you have a concern over specific bikes. I can confirm the bike in the advert deleted in our sub-forum bore no resemblance to the stolen one linked to above

Nothing to do with the missing Felt bike above but, a bloke I work with sent me a txt msge last Sunday morning to say that 3 "top of the range" bikes were found in a ditch in Carrigtwohill, Co.Cork, one of the local Gardaí told him that they were wrapped in plastic individually, and then wrapped together in plastic & dumped in the ditch. He had no idea what brand they were, but someone, somewhere is surely looking for these back.

The shop in Limerick that was robbed was Kilmallock cycles.

They took 70 odd bikes mainly Giants but a few Scott's . They also took every giant accessory he had . They left treks and others behind , don't know what that says :)

think number of bike shops done since Xmas is now four.

Was talking to owner and he said Garda have been great are working hard on this , they have a few strong suspicions . That's all I can say here
