my electricity bills are always fairly costly.
the farm is always around 300-350 and the house is another 300-350 every two months. the house has the water pump which pumps water up to the farm and also to the parents house so I suppose that's making it dear.

would getting 3 phase make it any cheaper or how does it work?

You'd have to change your motors from single phase to 3 phase. Depending on how far esb have to bring poles etc it could cost 15 grand:eek: to get it in.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

I have it and you don't have to change motors, just get a good sparky on the job and split phases between motors.all my parlour is 3 phase but rest of motirs(scrapers etc are single and no issues.
