Courses Machining

Hi,

I work in a machining section in a factory, I was just wondering does anyone have any advice on part time courses to do in hydraulics or mechtronics or general engineering or even welding; does anyone have any suggestions of part time courses that revolve around machining industry

Fas/Solus normally do a range of evening courses that are fairly ok and a goodshort term courses for beginners. Link is below and pick the “find a course” tab on thepage.

I done the Arc-Welding course 4 years ago and I was quite happy with it as I could not weld at all and wanted to be able to do the basics. Some guys on thecourse could already weld and they had different views. It all depends what youwhat out of the course.
The only thing with the Fas courses is that you only receive a certificateof attendance at the end rather than a certificate of qualification. (means you turned up for most of the classes than your competency on the course).

Mechatronics courses are generally taught through the various I.T.s,expensive part time and can take a couple of years.
