Whats boards.ie stance on mods setting up a rival forum while still being a boards moderator?

I'm assuming this is to do with your disagreement with a mod in motoring so you're looking for a different way to "get back" at him for some perceived slight?

stance? as long as they can keep a degree of separation , what a volunteer mod decides to do with their own time is their own business. I, personally, would encourage them and give them whatever support I can. If the mod decides to start using their position to damage boards.ie with a view to driving traffic to their other forum instead, then we would take appropriate actions.

I run an online roleplaying forum , boards has an online roleplaying forum which I was a mod of for a while. There is plenty of precedence.
