I'm a sixth year student and am still debating with myself which course I would like to do following my leaving cert. I want to do mathematical sciences (CK407) but am just thinking about my second and third choices. On the topic of civil engineering : what is the maths content like compared to some of the dedicated maths courses, and what is the physics content like. I would also like to know what the postgraduate options are like, my main question is whether you can do a postgraduate in science if you have a primary degree in engineering?
    I appreciate any help, thanks

Check out the prospectus for the course. They usually give you an outline of course content.

The maths in the likes in Trinity and UCD etc can be tough. Trinity has 3 years of dedicated engineering maths on top of the other maths
