Alternator Testing in Galway?

Howdy. Having some issues with my car, and thinking the alternator is the culprit.

I've done some testing with a voltmeter which leads me to think it's the alternator.

The battery is only 2 years old so doubt that is causing the issue?

Anyone know of anywhere that tests alternators in Galway city, preferably for free, or for feck all as I'm skint.

    Any help appreciated! :)

Most local mechs would be able to help but as you have a meter you can do a lot of testing DIY

Can you describe what makes you think it's the alternator? What is the issue you're having with the car.
