Getting from Luton to the west end?

    Thinking of bringing an 8 year old to Lindon for a show as a birthday treat.

    Can get great fare to Luton , but then stuck with getting to the city centre.

    Any of you done this route? Does anyone know how easy/difficult it is and how much it costs?

    It may be possible to do it in a day (matinee), is this really doable?

    very easy to do
    take a train from Luton Airport Parkway, you get a shuttle bus from the airport to it (5min trip)
    from the Parkway you can get a train straight into the heart of London, St Pancras station. from there you can easily get to where you want to go
    if it is a day trip get the day ticket at the Parkway, it will work out so much cheaper
