Nissan primastar turbo

    I think my turbo in my 08 Nissan primastar is gone
    For last few weeks in first / second gears no power in van but once I get sped up its fine
    Pulling a tailer also no power and no power in reverse
    Until Friday van was fine going along road with speed up now once I it it into 6 th hear no powe
    Mechanic put diagnostics check on it & reckons turbo is gone ( won't know till it's taken out and sent away ( if gone costly job & a week off the road ) any advice or could it be something more simple - electronic maybe

    i dont know if your turbo is gone, but if it is ,my nephew sells remanufactured turbos, certainly among the best,
    i am texting him now .
    from what i hear him saying on a daily basis, if your tutbo is gone make sure the mechanic cleans, cleans and cleans again the air ways and oilways
