Can I ask what you mean by he won't be everyone's cup of tea? What's he like?

I'm thinking of going with him too and have used independent for following and p2. Liked Liam doran but wasn't too keen on the first lecturers style so want to make sure they are the best choice for my next 2

    Thanks

Shane can be quite offensive, his thoughts on this is that you will remember his examples. If you are easily offended he is probably not a lecturer for you.

I found him good for P1, but not so good at P3. I'm going to give Owen in city colleges a try this time.

Thanks all, its so hard deciding so many mixed reviews on every lecturer! I suppose different people take to different styles!
Does anyone know what Reidin in griffth is like for P3?

I'd recommend Shane O'Grady too, I enjoyed his lectures. He gives great real life comparisons of companies (i remember discussing Under Armour sportswear) at one point which helps bring good real life info into learning. He started to issue powerpoint presentations where he would walk though exam questions and speak over it which helped a lot when working at home.
