Who does clay baring in cork?

    any crowd that will clay bar a car in cork to get the paint work to look better? what would the normal cost for it be?

    you can do it yourself if you have a small bit of time.

    Claying will do nothing with out pre and post work.

    you need to thourghily wash the car, de-tar the car, then clay it, then coat it with wax/polish/sealant of choice in one or more layers.

    Basically you are looking for a detailer.

    yes I didn't realise really whats involved but would want someone to do whatever is needed really. I find the black shine is gone dull and hard to shine up

    Yes and the procedure I posted is only an enhancement. What it sounds like you need is a proper detail. Machine polished and treated. If you were in Dublin, I'd recommend www.detailingshed.com or Brian in Spirit Detailing.

    Not up on cork, maybe a local will chip in shortly.

    So got the car back from Darren in D+D and im delighted. Car is class serious shine and reflection off it now! Darren is a sound fella too and would recommend him to anyone.

    Ya I'm delighted with the job anyway. Not sure what was used its a long life wax anyway I'm sure he said beginning with C I think. It was washed de tarred, Clayed light compound and polished and waxed then.
