Queue loads of tossers trying to one-up each other by bragging about carrying huge sums of cash and then being vague and mysterious when asked what it was for.

    Oh internet....love/hate you.

Usally at most, €200 - I just don't like the idea of carrying a lot of cash on me, should I lose my wallet.

Most I had was €7,500 from selling my BMW - immediate visit to the bank.

I got over a million out of an atm in Vietnam, in real money it was less than a 100 euros. I doubt if I have ever had more than 2000 euros on me. For large payments I use cheque or bank transfer.

Well it was a lotto ticket so it wasn't cash

Well the ticket turned out to be a losing ticket but it could have been worth €2,435,211

It is real money I guess although they prefer to deal in dollars and euros in many places. It is not quite in the league of the Zimbabwean dollar alright though.

    About €600.

Did a college job where I was paid in cash (not tax avoiding, the employer sorted out the tax themself) and went for a while without visiting the bank.

Seems not that much for an upper bound, but I was scared enough of losing it when I had it!

I used to work in a bank vault and would regularly carry millions in cash every day.
Pitty it wasn't like a bakery where they let you take home leftovers.

I worked on the Euro changeover and got to play with a few hundred million in cash and coins for a bit. I was in the Limerick distribution center teaching the operators how to move the pallets of dosh. Twas interesting. Security was amazingly shyte. Sadly, I'm the last honest fool.

500,000yen, which is about 4,000 euro.

I meant to withdraw 50,000, but pressed the wrong ATM button by mistake.
