tesco mobile no data packaging

    hi
    I've moved from vodafone to tesco mobile but as soon as I transferred my number I lost internet coverage have checked settings all seems fine. anyone else had this problem.

    i dont know of any need to "activate" data on your tesco account, but ive not been with them before

    id suggest:
    - call tesco to make sure data is setup on your account
    - reboot your phone
    - make sure the tesco sim is in your phone and works for calls texts
    - resend the settings to your phone - http://www.tescomobile.ie/priceplans/international/phone-settings.aspx nothing the recent changes to tesco data settings http://www.tescomobile.ie/support/question.aspx?id=81
    - try using data in another location in case of local issues

    hi thanks for reply
    have tried the above alright to no effect unfortunately. rang customer services and said they could send new sim but have read else were that this does no work either .

    Make sure you have roaming selected in the wireless and networks select more then tick roaming
