Feck disaster so for ya, reckon the summer was good to them so I was thinking there would be plenty about.
Bit of a moon out but plenty of cloud and wind so might bit worth a run out over the next few nights.

I was out over a week ago and had our best night yet. Shot 11 with the 204.

Its good to use a combination in your area of lamping and flushing the cover with dogs as it picks up the lamp shy foxes.

Agree 100% with you welsummer the only way too get educated Charlie is with the dogs, I notice a lot of fox nowadays are lamp shy from near misses.

2 foxes seen tonight but both were very cautious and I only tried to call one and no look. He popped his head out at around 120 yards after I shot a rabbit. But wouldn't come in.
Ended with 5 rabbits so not bad and seen more aswell.

I was out monday and wed, One shot with the hmr each nite, finding that the ones im seeing are either hugely suspicious and high tail it as soon as a lamp is switched on, or they come in almost to kicking distance with a couple of squeaks.. an odd combination. That bein said wed nite was super calm and very bright around here,
