Google Glass augmented reality apps

    Sorry if this in the wrong place so feel free to move, mods.
    Just watching Click on BBC there and they're talking about potential future applications for Google Glass.
    Haven't been this impressed by an application of tech in quite a while tbh.
    One example they give is fixing your car yourself with a future AR app designed for Google Glass that recognises the parts under the bonnet for example and feeds you back info about what might be wrong.

    Unbelievable possibilities for this technology.

    I've used the Word Lens AR translation Glassware (Word Lens co. now acquired by Google). Very impressive, but constrained - font shapes, sizes, keeping your head steady etc. Still, I agree. Lots of potential.
