Was looking at a frame before that arrived at LBS with cosmetic damage and considered buying it anyway so Talked to spray specialist in local garage about this and he said he would do it no problem, talked about matte finish and gel like finish which would be slightly more expensive . i didnt go with in the end because supplier wouldnt give much of a discount.

i suspect most good modern garages with a spray booth should be able to do it.

Is repair and paint cars for a living and would love a change to the norm painting cars
Painting a frame is a piece of cake but specialist detail or airbrushing is another kettle of fish

    Just my two cents

Be v careful with the paint used- I understand some paints can add 300 grams+ to the weight of a frame, if its a good frame you want the paint to add <100 grams

It would obviously depend on the type of paint but also you'd be sanding away previous paint job
