looking forward to this tomorrow, especially now with the nice weather forecast!

I'm just doing the 40k route with the wife so I'll miss the craic on the 120k route which would be my 'usual' choice on a sportive. So, we're rolling out at 11am and the 120k at 10am? That means they'll be about 15mins behind us as we leave Edenderry, so we'll make a little 'goal' now not to get lapped! by the fast lads on our lap! ha! :D

Well done on this today, great first effort by Team 905, well marshalled, plenty of grub, great atmosphere around the place.

I'm still in two minds about the 3 laps arrangement, the circuit itself was fine though sometimes it's better not to know what's in front of you. The biggest problem I saw was when the front fast group caught up with the tail end of the 40km bunch, which was from Rhode on on our second lap it led to some potentially hairy situations, there was a bit of a ROK vibe at times.

Suffered like a dog myself but that was self inflicted.

Great event to-day, chatted with f1000, did the 40k loop although my cycle to and from Celbridge brought today's total up to 120k, well marshalled, plenty of food and all for a good cause, big thanks to all the volunteers.
