I know of a few houses that are derelict and have been for many years, over 10 approx. I went online and seen that they were bought by the gas company who have a large building beside the houses. How would I got about finding out if they would sell theses houses? They are in a small group of say 10 houses... all the others are owned and lived and are really nice. The other two are as you would imagine.. run down... broken windows etc etc.

sounds like they want them for office space. iIseriously doubt that they would sell them.

If it was 10 years ago, it may be "wanted" rather than "want".

Get busy on LinkedIn etc, and figure out who the property manager for the company is. Find a way to get introduced to him/her, and ask.

    Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

see the thing is they have built a massive apartment block and that was completed bout 7 years ago. These houses have been just lying there. Id say they took them over thinking the apartments would take up more space but didnt. I spoke to the neighbours and they said Nama have them. Just not sure how I would go about it. Checked namas website and they do say they have houses on this road. Do I just contact nama then? You are right... nothing ventured nothing gained... its worth a shot. Prob a long shot tho. Seems such a shame to have 2 properties completely derelict and run down. ARRGGHHHH!!!
