I am currently on maternity leave from my full time job and I would like to return to education when my maternity leave is up but I don't think I can afford to. Does anyone know if I would be entitled to anything from the social welfare like rent allowance or back to education allowance etc .. I am renting now with my partner and he earns around 300 -350 a week which will be means tested , will this affect my chances of getting help from the social welfare .
    Thanks.
