    Hi folks,

We were thinking of moving to a house in Santry. Whats peoples vibes about living there? Anything we should look out for etc. We were thinking of buying near the airport side of Santry.

We were also wondering about schools. Would there be any perceived hassle trying to get kids into good schools like Fiachras in Whitehall or St Aidans beside DCU?

Any thoughts are much appreciated :)

Airport side for houses is the Royal Oak estate. Watch out for badly insulated houses, they are everywhere in Santry. The houses may look pretty on the outside but they do have heat problems.

Royal oak is a really nice estate, young families and never any trouble with everything on your doorstep. The houses are very sturdy and nicely done. It would be the closest to the airport also. There have been a few houses recently for sale in this area. Good luck with the house hunting
