    Hi all

I'd like to replace my gas boiler (a 15 year old vokera) with a new high efficiency gas boiler.

I received a quote and the plumber has recommended the Glo-worm brand. He seemed very reliable but two questions:

    1) does anyone have any experince with the Glo-worm boiler? and
    2) does the brand even matter, perhaps there are minor differences between models and installation is most important?

    Thanks in advance

Not a fan of Gloworms. Very basic boiler IMO.
Brands do matter & can vary with their performance, reliability & service back up significantly.

Also make sure your heating system will get a full mechanical & chemical powerflush before the boiler is changed. Any sludge will kill a HE boiler & is a requirement of the manufacturer's warranty.

Glowworm would be my cheaper option.

Im Worcester bosch all the way.

Saying that problems are rare and the aftersales backup are quite prompt
