Hows a going guys, looking for a bit of advice here. I'm a drummer and am playing an original set this Sunday in The Grand Social with the band I'm in but nobody can seem to tell me what kind of gear I need to bring, ie. snare, cymbals, cymbal stands, bass pedal, etc. If any of you guys (preferably drummers) could get back to me and fill me in on some details it would be much appreciated. Thanks..........

There is no backline or house kit in the grand social. You will need it all.

Is the gig with a promoter or did you book it yourselves.

If it's with a promoter they may supply backline (shells and stands), and then you'd bring,
    snare,
    cymbals,
    Kick.
I'd bring a clutch for the hi-hat stand too just in case!
You'll be supplied with 2 cymbal stands maximum usually, so if you've extra cymbals bring some stands.

If you're playing the "saucy sundays", there'll be a kit there.
So bring all of the above.

If backline is not supplied, then it's full drumkit and hardware.

    Cheers guys,

thanks very much for responding. The gig was actually booked by us (our band) directly with the venue and I managed to get in touch with The Grand Social directly through facebook. Turns out all you I needed was cymbals, felts, clutch, bass pedal, snare and sticks. Nice and handy to transport thank God. Thanks again for posting guys, much appreciated.
