    Hi first off thanks for taking the time to read this thread, I know this question probably gets asked a lot and is of no interest to real photography enthusiasts but any help is appreciated.


    Basically I'm looking to but a camera from say 200 to 400 euro just for general use taking photos on holidays, photos of the car, have a child on the way so that's a big spur to buy something hopefully somewhat decent.

    Any suggestions or tips on what to look for? Thanks.
