they are box sores,if lying on a hard surface they get them on their joints.I have a saluki that suffers badly from this problem.i have him currently in an old whiskey barrel on its side and a large dog cushion to lie on,this has stopped the problem.they are usually evident on their knuckles and hips.all the contact points that are on the floor

yeah they definitely would be a help.i paid i think 38 euros for them each and my morons dug holes in them and ripped them to shreds in no time at all,so that luxury was cancelled.

Have a staff and same thing, like small bald patches on paws and joints that get sore. Vet thought it was ring worm but no, definatley from lying on hard surface. Problem i have is that anything i put down for him to lie on the bas***d rips it to shreds and they can chew through anything. You can get a scrub from vet to keep it clean and put some powder like caldezine to dry it up.
