Does anyone know where I can find the requirements for the correct disclosures to be made on the directors report for an Irish ltd company?

The statutory sections are S 158 Cos Act 1963 and S13 Cos Amendment Act 1986.

Thanks Alan, the reason I ask is because I often see details on the directors report which is not required by company law e.g.

    Economic Risk
    Market Risk
    Financial Risk
    Political Donations

Purely from a risk perspective, why would you put something in a directors report which is not required?

The first three are required by company law albeit only for large companies. The fourth is required by The Electoral Act 1997. Some disclosures are made due to it being best practice but are not obligatory.

But the sections of the co act referred to above only refer to the "review of the business"
