Estimate Marathon Time

Quick question - I recently ran a half marathon in 90 minutes and wondered what would a realistic time be for a marathon in April? The course was actually quite hilly and we had to run through three flooded parts with our runners getting totally soaked but in fairness it was a peach of a day at around 8 degrees with the sun out. I'm under the impression a 3.15 would be on the cards but would love to get close to 3.05ish.

Anyone in, or was in, the same boat?

3:05 is very ambitious for a 90 minute half. 3:10 is probably more realistic, and will still be tough

Yeah very true its just that theres still another two months of training. Although that said I've hardly done anything after the half at the weekend!

Anything under 3:15 and I will be happy.

It really depends on what your training has looked like. Did you train specifically for the half marathon? What does your marathon training look like? Like you said, two months is a lot of training/potential improvement.
