    Howdy.

I'm looking at a few auld cars in the UK. Thinking about getting a transporter to pick the lucky car up and deliver it over on a run.
Has anybody any recommendations from past buying/shipping experiences perhaps?

I've used NVD a couple of times in the past, but it will have to be driveable and ready to go.

Do bear in mind with NVD...
NVD covers most of the UK.

However, we no longer accept work
    • above Glasgow/Edinburgh
    • south of the M4
    • east of M11

I've used Val McKenna in the past for moving a turn-key working car from Carlisle to Dublin no problems. 087 2996127

Don't get anything that doesn't start on the key. Nobody really wants to go shifting basket cases as they are a ball-ache to load. Make sure the car is accessible too. Helps if it can be brought to where the transporter is parked, rather than the other way round. A 9/10/11 car transporter isn't the easiest thing to pull up and park.

I have also used Val for a non-runner that came in through Felixstowe, the dockers made ****e of it, but that's another story. You need to be clear on the condition of the car - if you say it' driving, it has to start, drive, steer and stop. ;)

The car is a turn key starter. So should be grand..

That gives you more options alright.
