    Hi,

I am looking for a replacement boot liner (the floor of the boot that covers the spare)for a saloon 2008 Ford Mondeo TDCi LX. Has anyone any idea where I could pick one of these up? I was trying breakers yards but no one has got back to me.

    Any suggestions really appreciated.

Do you need the factory carpet bit or the accessory rubber liner?

Factory carpet bit. I don't know what the accessory rubber liner is though. Just to have it as it was when it was new I suppose. The original one was destroyed by dogs and thrown out apparently.

It'd be difficult to find one, as you won't find many in breakers. I'm sure a ford dealer could source one for you. Did you try ebay or if you want to be ripped off, fordparts. Don't want to see how that would come by courier though.....

That's disappointing. I was hoping they would be easy enough to source.

I was looking at that site earlier. The saloon version has some drop down about space saver or regular wheel. I'd prefer to get the original carpet version if at all possible

Carpet is the same for the saloon regardless of which spare, but sits at a different height. Had to swap a full size for a space saver with someone who needed the additional space in the boot that the Space saver gave. Think it's the same size from the 5 door, but couldn't say for sure

No idea where you'd pick one up from though if scrappies aren't coming up with anything. Worth checking with a dealer as sometimes, Ford parts are relatively cheap.

I may have one of these. PM for details.

Got one new from Ford last year ... approx. 65-70 euro.

Local scrappies didn't have because they throw them on the ground when taking off other parts.

Try partfinder.ie. it'll tell you what scrappys around the country have your model and just ring them then.

Did you look at travall? http://www.travall.ie/boot-mat-liners-t358
I'm not sure if there will be one for your particular car model, but since they make quite a lot of vehicle specific boot mats it is till worth checking. Let me know if that helped or not.
