Upgrading Cycling Ireland Membership

Before Christmas I renewed my non-competition membership with Cycling Ireland, but after some consideration I would like to upgrade to Limited Competition. I have emailed them and have received nothing in response. :(

Could anyone out there help me? What do I need to do to get this process rolling?

You don't need to e-mail them just change license type when renewing on-line through there system to the limited competition. I have just done the same.

The problem is that when I renewed I had no intention of doing any competitive riding but I have subsequently changed my mind.
So I am currently a member for 2014 on a non competition license.

    Apologies mis read your post.

This is from the CI website FAQ section........

QHow do I change my licence type or upgrade to another licence category?AIn order to upgrade your license, for example from a club competition to a full competition license, please log in to your profile and select your new license type by editing your details in the 'member' tile. The amount you pay will be the price of the new licence less what you have already paid for your current licence. Using the above example again, the fee due to Cycling Ireland would be €30. To see the table of fees for membership, please click here.

Please note that changes in Full Competition racing categories are only conducted in line with points accumulated from race results. This is a separate process and will happen automatically based on race results.

In all cases, you should receive an updated license card and race numbers (if you have upgraded to full competition) in the post within 30 days of upgrading.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for that detones. I was reading the same information myself and trying to work my way through it. For some reason the website isn't allowing me to amend my details. I guess I should just add that to the "Website woes" post.

Thanks again for your help. I shall perservere!!

Nothing but complaints about this website. I also have found it hard to work with. For a sports body to have this much trouble with their website in this day and age is hard to believe. Please get it sorted.

If you upgrade your licence now, you might get your membership card in the post in time for 2015. Or 2016 at the latest.

I was in the same boat ( http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=89069637&postcount=224) and it was resolved pretty quickly. Leave a query HERE and they should contact you soon enough.

Hi Sann, my problem was solved as jinkypolly has just posted. Cycling Ireland contacted me about the new query page and eventually they contacted me by phone and I was able to resolve it in 5 mins. First step is filling out the query form on the website which has now replaced the defunct email address.
