I went for an interview yesterday and in my opinion I got on really well.... But 2 annoying things happened!

They asked me what did I know about the role and I literally said 1 good thing I knew and blanked after that, they then asked me about the company, I answered this a bit better but I was able to redeem myself

All in all though I think it went well besides that, they were impressed with my degree and precious experience!

But now I am worried about the 2 questions? Does anyone have any advice? Main reason why I blanked is coz I totally wanted the job and I am super stressed at the mo lol

Try not to worry. As you said you answered the second question well, and at least you were able to attempt the first question, making a good point. Nerves are so common in interviews and I would imagine that the interviewers would understand this. All that said, there is no way to know as you don't know what other candidates were like, maybe the questions threw a few people off. Generally I would imagine if you felt it went well and you have good degree/experience then you're definitely in with a good chance, good luck! :)

It's always the questions you found difficult that you remember, try to think of all the ones you answered well! What I try to do is write down all the questions asked straight after interview, its usually good way to prep for any in the future if you don't get the job!

In fairness you should be able to answer both of these questions.

What do you know about the role? You should have an idea what the role is from the job advert.

What do you know about the company? Assuming they have a website, etc., you should be able to answer this.

I remember having an interview where I knew the role well, but knew nothing about the company. Everything I read suggested they outsource call centers or something but it was really vague. It turns out they did something completely different. They didn't care - I was offered the job. So don't worry you're probably ok.

I over heard someone in college was randomly asked mid interview many balloons would they think would fit in the room. Thats a question that would throw you.

OP if you could answer about the company, Im sure you will be fine. At least you prepared for some of the interview
