To extract or not to extract?

A filling fell out a number of days ago, and then the next day, a large piece of the tooth fell out also! No pain so clearly the nerve was already dead. As there is only half a tooth left, I figure its easier to get the fuucker pulled. What would they fill? :pac: Anyway, problem is the only time I have free is Friday evening and am flying on Saturday morning. Worried about the cabin pressure and also dont want my holiday ruined with post extraction pain! Is the pain from an extraction likely to last that long? On the other hand I'm worried about not having the extraction and ruining my hol with pain etc.

Dont make any judgelemts until a dentist give you your options, sometimes teeth look worse than they are. Plenty of half broken teeth out there with big fillings doing just fine.

Regarding you holiday and lack of time to visit the dentist, you as likely to have the tooth cause trouble as the extraction or the filling. Make it a priority to go to the dentist.

I have a back molar that's been at least 70% filling for the past few years.

You'll be surprised what a good dentist can do.
