bull with a slipped disc

have a young bull(not a year old) till next month, slipped a disc-re in back..according to vet--had him out today... bull-was limping a little on Saturday/Sunday, thought nought of it-re was with 2 others(outside, on 3 acres of after grass,well was!! haha)-on silage/meal.. were doing grand.. till this--found him,when came…

have a young bull(not a year old) till next month, slipped a disc-re in back..according to vet--had him out today...
bull-was limping a little on Saturday/Sunday, thought nought of it-re was with 2 others(outside, on 3 acres of after grass,well was!! haha)-on silage/meal.. were doing grand.. till this--found him,when came home from work ytday--unable to get up! so had vet out.. left him outside-vet said to, save on bed sores.. is throwing himself back a lot-so propped up with small bales of straw! also have him surrounded with silage bales... shelter belt.. lashing rain+high winds here!
he is eating a little--meal/hay + drinking some water! have to inject him every day-into muscle.. ring vet a friday... see how goes! am wishful, any1 ever hav similar??
