As simple as it may be, I just can't figure it out.

Had replacement Bosch wiper blades on the car, and these just started juddering one day - only 2 weeks old. Looked fitted ok to me. Head scratcher.

Tried another set of bosch, and same problem a few days later, though I had a set of Bosch on it for 8 months with no issue.

In any event, went to Halfords, and got their brand. Going ok another good few weeks, until this afternoon when one goes flying off mid traffic. The car had been parked in a private car park today, and managed to battle the rain at say a medium speed for 20 minutes of my drive home; then wham, disconnected and flying through the air.

I don't think someone was messing with them.

Just don't get it. It can't be that hard can it...

That is odd alright. I assume they were connected correctly and all.
It kinda sounds like there some issue with the arm, where it connects to the blades *pure guess*

Can anyone give me a link to wipers that definitely fit? Arms look fine so I will try once more.

For my own sanity, the wipers for the E60, one of them is longer than the other. What side does the longer one go on?

long wiper usually goes on drivers side. did spare fittings come in box or pack, there are some variations in those but it's specified on box,but usually unless they slide off easily they don't give that

Typical installation on a cold day. The clips are a little tricky and can fall off, but mostly you can do this with one ...oblem .
