    All,

    As the title suggest just looking for an indication of the cost of replacing the brake pads on an 2001 opel corsa.

    Depends on where you go.

    You want both sides front done yeah?
    Pads, less than 50 for two pairs
    Labour, less than an hour.

    I fitted the front pair on my friends Kia Sportge in under 2 hours. The Pads cost €37 and i had all the tools already. Loads of videos like this one online showing how...

    I was amazed at how easy it was.

    Just a thought if you want to save money, but make sure you are mechanically competent before attempting it.

    Thats before they come back telling you it also needs discs, shocks, 4 tyres, a cv boot and a new exhaust.

    I fitted mine recently in about 15 mins both front. I went into motor factors and asked for brake pads. He said I will have to take them off to get a set to fit(The type of car it was) so I went out side took them off and and got a new set went outside again and fitted them. It was even probably less then 15 mins. And no I'm not a mechanic I just learned how to do it on my old car. very easy job to do.

    Where you located OP? Mate's garage can fit them for you for under 40 quid

    I need mine done as well (Opel insignia) - located in Dublin 15. Is your mates garage this side of town? thanks
