Did the aerial get the blown down last night or it might have moved out of alignment with the transmitter?

Aerial seem to be in same position as normal, bracket not allow it to move :) All look fine from pavement.

Depending on what the signal is like at your location a small movement could lose the signal. It could also be a cabling issue.

Have you checked the connection to the receiver and any splitters/amplifier in the system.

Connection to box? Yes that fine.
No splitter or amplifier in place.

Yesterday (Sunday) we had the exact same problem. Turned on the telly, no signal message came up. Thought it might be the aerial, but everything looked fine. After a bit of headscratching wondering what was up, just decided to retune and all the channels came back. Don't really know why they went in the first place.

It is something you should never do when you lose signals. Now your memory is wiped so you won't see them when the fault is fixed.

Why did the box need replacement, I can understand replacing the aerial and cabling if it's been up there for a good number of years?
