Nikon Prostaff 1" Riflescope Matte BDC 4-12x40mm

For sale is a Nikon Prostaff riflescope with a one inch tube. Magnification varies from 4x to 12x with a 40mm bell and is matte black in colour.. The scope has a "generous" amount of eye relief and comes with spring loaded zero reset turrets.

This scope has the Ballistic Drop Compensator (BDC) reticle which was designed for the most popular cartridges available.

Personally, I like the BDC reticle because the hash marks on the reticle are see through. Rather than covering and hiding the target, you can train yourself to peek through them and see the target.

This is especially useful at night when lamping. I did not like the illuminated reticle scopes [that I could afford] as the dots were too bright or the red often "bled" into the lens. Also, it was difficult to try and cover the target at night, in the dark, with an illuminate reticle. Anyhow, if you look at the images below, you can see what I mean by peeking though the reticle. Note, the image is blurry - not at all as clear as what she looks like in person.
