Getting Broadband into an Area

Hi guys there is a new road being built in our area, more specifically the new Sligo-Dublin road. The work will take about 5 years. We are in an area with no broadband whatsoever. We can only get wireless broadband at very low speeds. How would we go about getting a service provider to put in a Fibre optic line whilst the road is being done. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

The short answer is you probably can't.

How many people would this be servicing?

If it is only a few good luck, but Eircom may be interested. They care about numbers, that's it really.

Its not that, they'd have to build an exchange or at least put in a cab. So yeah, dont hold your breath.
