Mass / Group text sending with Android 100 sms per hour limit?

    Hey,
    I want to send a 29 part message to a group of 116 recipients and when I try to, go sms pops up "Due to andrid system only allows to send 100 sms in an hour, GO SMS group sms plug0in can help you break through the limitation".

    Now I remember on my oul trusty HTC Desire, I had issues sending group messages and not everyone received them.

    Does anyone know how to resolve this, preferably without having to buy that GO SMS plugin/premium version?

    I hope I'm not Zombie bumping?
    But I'm having a similar issue and rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd tag on here.
    I need to send a regular bulk SMS to a group of @70 recipients but my stock(sony) app won't do more than 10.
    Whats the best way to deal with this?

    I have a similar problem, and I found Chomp recommended elsewhere on Boards.ie

    It seems to be working OK for me. You can set up a group via your contacts manager, by adding the chosen contacts into your new group. Then you use Chomp to send a message to the group.
