Found this fellow in the kitchen last night. Back door was left open.

What is he and how wet do the environs need to be for him to be hanging around?

It's a Common Frog. Put him in any overgrown damp area of the garden and he'll be fine.

The frog might be on it's way to his/her spawning pond at this time of year.

Oh absolutely! It's that time of year again thank goodness. I'd still put him in a covered damp area to get him settled all the same.

Yeah this time last year I seen ponds up high in bohernabreena mountains full of spawn. Herons were hanging around the trees aswell. Must keep an eye out for them again
