I wanna go to that. Are tickets on sale yet? What's the NCH like? Would the €25 seats be good?

You can select your seating on the NCH website and see your view of the stage - not sure if you can get a view from the unreserved seats tho'

The choir balcony is behind the stage, so you'd have a good view of Ben, though you'd be looking at the back of the orchestra.

The view from there is fine and the sound too, you're just looking at the back of the performers, but who cares? If he's playing piano he'll be sideways on anyway.
Only major problem is that there aren't many of those seats and they're unreserved. Get there early is my advice. Though you're probably not allowed bring drinks to your seat.

No drinks allowed in the auditorium. But one advantage of getting into the choir balcony early is that you can see where the piano is located and position yourself accordingly for a good view of Ben, which - for €25 - is an absolute steal.

If you have a gmail account, can you check the Spam folder as some tickets are going in there. If you definitely don't have them in your email account, please drop me a mail on joanne.taaffe@nch.ie with your order number and I'll sort something for you.

Great show last night. I'm pretty sure this is the setlist. It may not be in strict order, though.

    Effington
    Smoke
    Jesusland
    Picture Window
    Concerto for Piano and Orchestra
    Steven's Last Night in Town
    --- interval ---
    Zak and Sara
    Landed
    Fred Jones, Part 2
    Gracie
    (Orchestra Speech)
    Not the Same
    Brick
One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces
    --- encore ---
    Rock This Bitch
    The Luckiest
    --- encore ---
    Army (without orchestra)

I thought that the piano was too low for the first part of the show, and Ben's vocal was too low and echoey.
They clearly sorted it out at the interval, 'cos the mix was much better in the second half.
