Looking to get some ignition leads for a 2001 Fiat Punto - I know I can go the Mick's Garage route but would like to avoid having to wait for them, so does anyone know of a bricks and mortar place that might be worth checking instead?

    Thanks.

Use the google to find your nearest motor factor. They will most likely have to order them. They'll usually have them the following day or maybe later that day if you call in early enough. If you ring around a few places you might find them in stock somewhere.

Thanks - checked with Mick's Garage and you can arrange to collect items too, so should get sorted one way or another.

Punto's use an unusual (ballasted??) ignition lead, and sometimes the cheaper aftermarket ones are not the same as the genuine article. The ignition coils run a fair bit warmer if they are not the right ones. Genuine from Fiat I think are around €60 but can be got from UK over the interweb for around half that if you can wait.

Are you looking for a lead or two, or a full set? I might some good individual ones that are good which you can have free - send me a PM if interested ;)
