    hello All,
Im having terrible trouble with my broadband.

I was with BT, but the Vodafone bought them up.
I still have BT Voyager modem(maybe 4 years old).
For the alst 3 months the internet has been dodgy. comes on in day but then goes at night or is on/off.

    The modem lights are
    wireless- flashes sometimes.
    DSL-flashes then turns off.

    I've changed the Cable.
so im guessing it must be the Modem??

I dont wanna pay for new modem if it doesnt work.
    So any other thoughts?
Also my telephone line is supposed to get 5MB.
    And were getting about 1MB.

    Any adivse is greatly appreciated
    Sean

Buy a modem/router and install it. Then ring Vodafone technical services and they will talk you through what you have to enter on the modem/router. Have a look modem/routers at Argos.ie and then decide how much you can afford to spend. You don't have to use a Vodafone one as they charge way over the odds for their modem/routers.
