Was wondering is there anyone out there who would know of any Maths grinds available ? I'm seriously struggling with the content, and cant make any sense of notes from lectures, and I cant even attempt the assignments. I really need to do well in the assignments to pass the year, so if ye know of any grinds from anyone in Algebra and Calculus for first year Science in NUIG please reply ! It'd be greatly appreciated, thank you :)

Have you tried going to the SUMS centre at all?

Have you attended the tutorials? They cover the assignments question by question.

+ 1 for SUMS. The guys in there are amazing! It's a totally free service and they will help you make sense of your lectures and what to do, take you through some sample questions and will also be there to give advice with assignments (they won't do them for you, but they will help out in such a way that you get there yourself!)

+1 SUMS and tutorials for maths use these and they'll get you through worked for me so far and I so average at maths - also best not to leave it to the very last minute before these assignments are due --- try to get started on them early - this semester maths looks so much more scary I was wondering if I'd started a different course entirely ;)
