Wet vac - aldi, lidl or other?

Looking to get a budget wet vac to do some basic carpets and mats cleaning.

I think that both Aldi and Lidl sell theirs around February/March time for about €40 to €50 and I was wondering if anyone got one previously. Is one better than the other?

Also, I see Karcher do refurbed machines from the Uk (see link)

    http://www.karcheroutlet.co.uk/products/product.asp?id=4923

However, postage to NI and carriage from there down south will bring it near the €50 mark.

    All recommendations appreciated!

Got a lidl one a few years ago and I think it's brilliant. It comes with 2 filters, one for wet and one for dry. It's a bit annoying having to change over the filter but I found one on eBay that can be used both wet and dry :) the only bad thing about it is it's very loud!

I got a second hand VAX on adverts for €20. It doesn't have the attachments and is held together with duct tape, but I just wash fabrics with an APC solution and hoover them dry with the Vax.

    Thanks for the replies.

The only ones on Adverts & Donedeal seem to be more industrial types but I'll keep looking.

Anyone tried the Karcher model shown. It is the base model but it looks a little flimsy?

Picked up a Draper wet vac off amazon there for just over €50. Not expecting a lot just want it to clean the inside of the cars. Will report back what it is like when it arrives this week! Any recommendations for a detergent or similar to wash the inside seats and carpets?

I rented a "rug doctor" machine for weekend to clean 2 carpets in house. Using the hand attachment I gave the seats in car a once over as there was a stain on passenger seat. Very pleased with results. Seats nearly dry when finished. If you did not want to buy a machine this is an option.

I have that worklight not bad for the price, also oddly the tyre cleaner my mechanic says is good on upholstery if you need to remove oil! Hand cleaner is good too and that jack works fine for my two cars which include a old corrolla and a "newer" Touran.
