Checked baggage and connecting flights

    Hello,
I have a quick question, I don't usually check in baggage but as seems I'm going
away for 6 months I should probably bring more than usual xD.

Anyway I've been looking at flights with Turkish airlines. There's two stop-overs and I'm wondering do I need to pay checked-in baggage fees at those two airports? Or does the baggage get transferred free?

    thanks :)

If all is on the 1 ticket then you won´t have to pay check in bagage fees. Your bag will be checked in in Dublin and checked straight through to your final destination.

By the way, great airline to fly with.

Much appreciated :D Yeah i've done a lot of searching today and I'll definitely go with them. There's a marginal difference with those 'budget' airline websites but might as well book it directly.

As long as it's on one ticket the transfer is free. You still need to abide by the weight / number of bags allowance to avoid a charge.

I have another question, in the meantime I've found cheaper flights and from cork which is a plus. Anyone know if it's possible to make 1 hour transfer times in Amsterdam and Nairobi?

It's possible in Amsterdam, not sure about Nairobi. But...you're relying on having no delays and there's a strong possibility that your bags will miss the connection and arrive on a later flight.

Yeah i know, I'm tempted with it being cheaper but it's probably not worth it ... Thanks for the info :)
