Warm or just better weather training!

    Where would be a good spot for warm weather training for a club /small group of mainly distance runners of reasonable club level standard , ideally mix of trails /road running
    and a track would be a plus
    Im thinking of Algarve or the Canaries in March/April , any tips re location/town/apartments would be welcome , havent organised anything before similar so all advice welcome.thanks

    Monte Gordo in the Algarve is a great spot with about 15 miles worth of trails, track, indoor facilities (high jump, indoor track, HP gym). Town itself is relatively quiet with accomodation very reasonable (self catering in the Hotel Dunamar is one of the better ones I found over though there are plenty of other choices).

    Area is popular destination with DSD, UCD, AAI as well as a generally popular spot with other nations so there is a good training vibe to the town.
